Exploring new places and surprising yourself with unexpected experiences is THE dream! Travelling throughout the year would be so much fun! Given a chance, I’d choose it without two thoughts! Anyway, Last week I was in Jodhpur, and this was my second time there. It is such a pretty city and so chilly at this time of the year. Last year I had been there thanks to the colleges’ Industrial Visit (yeah, they call it that). This time, it was more intimate.
Destination weddings are something I obsess over so I was on board when this came along. It was my friend’s sister’s wedding! This marriage was a mixture of a Marwadi and Punjabi family and it was fun to be a part of their ceremonies. As soon as we reached, there was a Bateesi ceremony that was delight to watch! I wore a simple suit which had a handpicked border paired and a net Dupatta.
The same night there was Sangeet, where all my friends were lined up to dance on
Bollywood tracks (totally made my night!). I opted to wear a Black-Golden-Pink
Saree which I LOVED and made it look like a Lehenga by draping it in a Gujarati
style.
I decided to go with this Anarkali dress for the Haldi and
Chuda rasam. I think it was really apt as I was in awe of its length and colour
was very weddingy!

So finally the big day arrived! Both the bride and the groom looked radiant and just
out of a fairytale! I chose a White and Red Lehenga for the wedding, which I couldn’t
stop drooling over!

Before heading back, we decided to revisit the Mehrangarh Fort. It is humungous,
beautiful and has great history behind it. I sure wanted to shoot a Royal look
there, but the time constraints spoke otherwise! I shot the OOTD there though.
I’d worn a casual top and leggings with a leather jacket as it was really
chilly and was my reason to wear this navy blue beauty!

Finally my trip came to an end and I loved every bit of it. Chilled with friends, late
night dancing, heavenly food, travelling madness and got to be a part of a
beautiful marriage. Can’t wait to share more such stories from my travel diaries
with you lovely people.
Until then
